Description
The award, administered by the American Psychoanalytic Association (APsA) Candidates’ Council, recognizes outstanding classroom teaching by educators of psychoanalytic candidates. Named for Dr. Wendy Jacobson in recognition of her contributions to psychoanalytic education, the award aims to promote excellence, engagement, and innovation in teaching within psychoanalytic institutes and centers. Each year, two educators are selected to receive a $2,500 cash award and the honor of presenting their work at the APsA National Meeting. The award highlights both innovative teaching methods and effective curriculum development that enhance the educational experience for psychoanalytic candidates.
