Description
The Visiting Professorships program, offered by the Association for Academic Surgery (AAS), is designed to promote the international exchange of ideas and expertise in clinical, scientific, and policy aspects of surgery. Through partnerships with surgical societies in regions including West Africa, Colombia, Taiwan, and Australasia, these awards provide travel support for AAS members to attend annual meetings of partner organizations, present research, and foster collaborative professional relationships. Recipients are also expected to host visiting international scholars at the AAS Academic Surgical Congress.
