Description
The New York Community Trust is one of the nation's largest and oldest community foundations, supporting nonprofit initiatives across New York City, Long Island, and Westchester. Grants are awarded in a broad range of fields, including animal welfare, arts and culture, biomedical research, civic affairs, community development, education, environment, gender equity, health and behavioral health, human justice, human services, jobs and workforce development, support for older adults and people with disabilities, technical assistance, and youth development. Each region and program area has specific priorities reflecting local needs.
The Trust aims to foster resilient and equitable communities by supporting impactful, innovative projects.
