Description
The American Bar Foundation (ABF) offers the William H. Neukom Fellows Research Chair in Diversity and Law as a year-long visiting position for an outstanding scholar with a distinguished record of scholarship in law and the social sciences. The Chair pursues their own empirical research while participating in the ABF’s expanding research program on diversity and law, broadly conceived.
Topics of interest include diversity in the legal profession and other institutions of justice, and the impact of diversity on legal processes, legal institutions, and public policy. Research may also examine the roles of race, gender, disability, and sexuality in legal institutions and processes, or the interaction between legal processes and inequalities associated with these dimensions. These topics are illustrative rather than exhaustive.
