Description
The William K. and Katherine W. Estes Fund is a joint effort of the Psychonomic Society and the Association for Psychological Science. It supports the advancement of mathematical psychology broadly defined, including psychological statistics, experimental methodology, and formal approaches to psychological research. Supported activities include workshops, summer schools, lectures, and symposia that strengthen methodology in mathematical, quantitative, and experimental psychology and related areas.
Established to extend William Estes’ scientific legacy, the fund has supported training and activities on cognitive modeling, Bayesian methods, computational social cognition, machine learning, learning and development, and nonlinear dynamics in neuroscience and psychology.
