Description
The William T. Buice III Scholarship, administered by Rare Book School (RBS) at the University of Virginia, provides full RBS tuition for returning students with demonstrable financial need. Applicants from all fields are welcome. The scholarship supports continued study through RBS, whose educational programs focus on the history of written, printed, and digital materials.
Support can be used for in-person or online RBS instruction under the school’s shared scholarship terms. The award provides tuition credit for a course to which the recipient is subsequently admitted, rather than a guaranteed place in a class. It supports only courses administered by RBS and cannot be transferred to California Rare Book School or London Rare Books School.
