Description
The Willmoore H. Kendall Scholarship provides professional education support to assistant managers and aspiring managers actively pursuing the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation. Established in 2001 in memory of CMAA Past President Bill Kendall, CCM, the scholarship helps recipients meet certification requirements and prepare for the CCM examination through tuition support for specified Business Management Institutes (BMI), certification review coursework, study materials, and exam fees.
The program is administered by The Club Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization established by the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) in 1988. The Foundation supports the professional development of club managers through education, training, and research initiatives. Kendall scholarships are awarded annually based on available funds and application merit.
