--- ## Description The Windsor Locks Greater Together Community Fund Grant, established by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, is designed to empower the Windsor Locks community to identify and address local needs through targeted grantmaking. The program encourages civic engagement, inclusivity, and meaningful benefit to Windsor Locks residents. Grants are awarded for single, deliverable projects that have a clear, positive impact on the community. The fund is managed by a committee of Windsor Locks residents who lead the process of setting priorities and recommending awards. --- ## Due Dates - Application window opens: June 1, 2025 - Applications accepted on a rolling basis until: September 30, 2025 Applicants should allow 1–3 months after the deadline for review and notification. --- ## Funding Amount - Grants range from $250 to $5,000 per project. - The total pool available in this cycle is up to $5,000. - Funding is for single-year, deliverable projects. --- ## Eligibility - **Nonprofits**: 501(c)(3) public charities within the Hartford Foundation’s funding region, or those fiscally sponsored by an eligible nonprofit. - **Municipalities and Religious Organizations**: Eligible for non-religious projects that align with the Foundation’s guidelines. - **Resident Groups**: Groups of Windsor Locks residents may apply in partnership with a registered nonprofit serving as fiscal agent. - **Fiscal Agents**: The Town of Windsor Locks may serve as a fiscal agent for applicants. - **Ineligible**: Individuals, for-profit businesses, and civic organizations without 501(c)(3) status are not eligible. Applicants must show how their project will benefit Windsor Locks residents and ensure equitable access without discrimination.
