Description
The Jeffrey Modell Foundation’s WinMD program supports conference-based continuing medical education for medical students, fellows, researchers, nurses, and physicians. It provides support for participation in global meetings focused on Primary Immunodeficiency (PI) and immunology, with attendance available virtually or in person. The program policies require the conference to focus on PI.
WinMD aims to enhance physician education, promote PI awareness, and encourage dialogue among colleagues in the field. Rather than supporting a standalone research project, the grant helps recipients access educational opportunities and professional exchange through conferences. Past recipients have attended meetings including LASID, ESID, and CIS, and grants have supported physicians and nurses in more than 44 countries.
