    The Women in Interventional Radiology (WIR) Champion Award is an annual recognition presented by the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). Established in 2020, the award honors individuals who have consistently demonstrated significant contributions to advancing the careers and professional development of women in interventional radiology (IR). Contributions may include mentorship, sponsorship, advocacy, teaching, promotion, and recruitment efforts that foster an inclusive and equitable environment in IR.
