The Women in IR (WIR) Champion Award is an annual honor presented by the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) to an individual who has consistently made a significant impact on the advancement of women in interventional radiology (IR). The award highlights leadership in areas such as mentorship, sponsorship, teaching, promotion, advocacy, and recruitment, and is intended to celebrate those who foster a more inclusive and supportive environment within the IR community. The recipient is recognized at the Women in IR InspIRed Lecture and Luncheon during the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting.
