Description
The Women in IR Champion Award, established by the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) in 2020, honors individuals who have made outstanding and sustained contributions to the advancement of women in interventional radiology (IR). This includes work in sponsorship, mentorship, teaching, promotion, advocacy, and recruitment. The award is presented annually at the SIR Annual Scientific Meeting, highlighting those who have fostered the growth, leadership, and professional development of women in IR and served as role models within the field.
