Key Information: Applicants must currently receive Title V MCH funding, have selected the Adolescent Mental Health objective, and intend to maintain it through December 2030.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Public Health, administers this funding opportunity through the Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) program. It supports local public health and Tribal health agencies that selected the Adolescent Mental Health (AMH) objective for their 2026 MCH work. Funding is intended to expand or enhance that existing work by prioritizing youth voice and meaningful youth engagement.
The project promotes young people’s mental, emotional, and social well-being through an intentionally open-ended approach. Supported work may address direct mental health needs, such as access to youth-centered mental health resources, or indirect determinants of adolescent mental health. These include physical activity and nutrition, social connectedness and reducing isolation, and the physical environment and safe spaces.
