Description
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services’ Division of Care and Treatment Services is offering opioid settlement funds to Tribal nations and counties for room and board costs that federal law prevents Medicaid from reimbursing. Funds cover room and board for Medicaid members with an opioid use disorder or at risk of an opioid overdose. This includes people seeking treatment for a current opioid use disorder, people receiving treatment for another substance use disorder who have a history of opioid use disorder, and people with a stimulant use disorder whose opioid exposure is demonstrated by a urine screen or survival of an overdose.
