Description
The Wisconsin Forest Landowner Grant Program is a cost-share program run by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for non-industrial private forest landowners. It supports non-commercial work to protect and improve woodlands, with first-priority practices covering forest stewardship plans, tree planting and regeneration, forest health and improvement, and soil and water protection.
Second-priority practices include wetland and riparian protection, wildlife habitat enhancement, and work to protect, restore, enhance or maintain endangered or threatened resources, rare natural communities, and historic, cultural and archaeological resources.
