Description
Learning Event Support from the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment (AHW), based at the Medical College of Wisconsin, funds Wisconsin-based events for current health professionals and the next generation of health leaders. The program aims to improve residents’ health by advancing a workforce that is increasingly accessible, equipped, and representative. It supports both community-led and MCW-led events, with funding directed toward event-specific expenses.
Events should address a key learning gap and explore new ideas participants can apply in their work to improve health in Wisconsin communities. Beyond gaining knowledge, participants should be able to put their learning into action to advance health and/or health equity. Building professional networks alongside knowledge and skills is also central to the program’s purpose.
