Description
Wise Practices in Indigenous Leadership is an intensive, in-person leadership development program at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. The program centers and strengthens both cultural and contemporary leadership skills using Indigenous models of wisdom. Participants engage in traditional teachings, land-based learning, storytelling, and practical case studies, all guided by respected Elders and faculty. The curriculum emphasizes transformational change, values-based and relational leadership, and the integration of Indigenous knowledge into personal and professional leadership practices. This program is part of Banff Centre’s suite of Indigenous Leadership offerings and can be counted toward the Certificate of Indigenous Leadership, Governance, and Management Excellence.
