Description
Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity’s Wise Practices in Indigenous Leadership supports a personal and professional leadership journey that balances cultural and contemporary leadership competencies. Financial assistance helps participants cover fees for this in-person program in Banff, Alberta. Participants explore how to put the Indigenous wise practices leadership model into action in their roles and organizations while deepening identity, knowledge, and cultural values within their leadership style.
Guided by Elders and faculty, the program combines land-based learning, hands-on case studies, culture, arts, and community dialogue. Its themes include transformational change, living systems thinking, deep listening, storytelling, collaboration, partnerships, and values-based leadership. The experience creates space for regeneration and reflection while helping leaders envision what they need to thrive.
