The award is intended to increase participation of diverse early-career researchers in the chemical sciences by funding travel, registration, and accommodation costs. In addition to financial support, recipients benefit from networking opportunities such as a dedicated poster session and recognition at the WCC Luncheon, where they interact with ACS governance and WCC members.
