--- ## Description The ACS Women Chemists Committee (WCC) and Eli Lilly and Company sponsor a travel award program to support female undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral chemists in presenting their research at American Chemical Society (ACS) national meetings. The award is designed to increase the participation and visibility of women in the chemical sciences. In addition to financial support, recipients gain valuable networking opportunities, including participation in a dedicated poster session, recognition at the WCC Luncheon, and a special breakfast reception with WCC members and guests from Eli Lilly and Company. Awards are made based on scientific merit and financial need, and funds are restricted to travel, registration, and accommodation expenses for meetings within the United States. Some funds are specifically designated for undergraduate applicants. --- ## Due Dates - **Anticipated deadlines:** - December 2025 (for ACS Spring Meeting) - June 2026 (for ACS Fall Meeting) _All dates are projected based on the annual cycle; check the program page for updates._ --- ## Funding Amount - Award amounts are variable and may cover: - Registration fees - Travel expenses - Accommodation costs - Funds are limited; some are designated for undergraduate applicants. --- ## Eligibility - Open to female undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral chemists. - Only U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible. - Applications are limited to one per research group. - Preference is given in the following order: 1. Applicants making their first presentation (any format) at an ACS Spring or Fall Meeting. 2. Graduate or postdoctoral applicants who have not presented at a national or major meeting since completing their undergraduate degree. - Previous recipients of this award are ineligible. --- ## Application Process Applicants must submit the following materials online (PDF format, no embedded documents): - Resume or C.V.
