Description
This grant, provided by the Engineering Information Foundation, funds projects that aim to increase the participation and retention of women in engineering. The program supports initiatives that encourage middle and high school girls to consider engineering careers, as well as efforts to improve retention among undergraduate women enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering programs. The Foundation also offers targeted support to all-female or majority-female Engineers Without Borders (EWB) teams, with a requirement for female leadership. The grant prioritizes projects that demonstrate innovation, measurable impact, replicability, and the potential for significant and lasting change.
