Description
The American Rhinologic Society (ARS) administers this Medtronic-sponsored award through the Academy’s CORE grants process. It supports basic, translational, clinical, health services, or outcomes research projects in any area of rhinology. The program is open to eligible ARS members whose research team includes at least one female investigator, either as principal investigator or co-investigator.
Funding supports legitimate research costs, including consultant expertise, supporting personnel, research technology, laboratory supplies, and dissemination of results. Recipients must share their findings through abstract submission for an ARS national meeting, with ARS retaining first refusal for publication in The International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology. Interim and final reporting, alongside possible follow-up by ARS, the Academy, or Medtronic, supports assessment of the program’s impact.
