Description
The Women’s Caucus Intersectional Prize, awarded annually by the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS), honors exceptional intersectional scholarship that advances nuanced analyses of gender, race, and other dimensions with a focus on women in the eighteenth century. The prize encourages work that centers on women, gender fluid, and non-binary individuals, and welcomes additional perspectives such as indigeneity, empire, sexuality, or class. Projects typically focus on the period from 1660 to 1820, but proposals spanning broader eras are also considered.
