Description
The Women’s Fund is a permanently endowed fund at the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin supporting the needs of women and girls in Rock County, Wisconsin. Its priorities reflect current community needs, with the goal of strengthening women’s self-worth, helping break the cycle of poverty, and benefiting future generations.
The fund’s 2026 grant focus includes projects and programs serving women and children through prevention, response, or both. Examples include training for targeted audiences, support groups, mentoring, resource identification, and related programs. Collaboration throughout Rock County is encouraged. An Advisory Board of community volunteers and foundation staff raises money for the endowment and recommends grants. The fund also offers donors hands-on grant-making and leadership experiences through volunteer opportunities.
