Description
The Women’s Giving Circle is a Community Giving Foundation program established in 2017 to support projects that empower, connect, and inspire women and girls. It distributes funding to local organizations for programs addressing women’s and girls’ needs within the Foundation’s six-county service area in Pennsylvania’s Central Susquehanna region.
The program favors clearly explained projects with measurable goals, an evaluation process, and a plan to sustain positive outcomes. It also values collaboration and work that does not duplicate services already offered by other community organizations. Selection includes Steering Committee review followed by presentations from four finalists at the Women’s Giving Circle Annual Event, where donors vote to distribute two grant awards.
