Description
The Women’s Giving Circle Grants, offered by the Connecticut Community Foundation, are designed to support nonprofit organizations working to address the needs and challenges of women and girls in Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills. The Giving Circle operates as a participatory grantmaking group: members collaborate to identify priorities (such as employment, education, pay equity, housing, parenting, and women’s health), review applications, and collectively decide which projects to fund. Since 2017, the Circle has awarded over $300,000 to local organizations advancing opportunities for women and girls.
