Description
The Women’s Philanthropy Society, a program of the Community Foundation of Greater Huntsville, awards up to two significant grants each year to nonprofit and public organizations advancing systemic change for women and families in the Greater Huntsville area. The Society operates under the Power of S.H.E.E. framework, targeting four pillars: Safety & Security, Health & Wellness, Education, and Economic Empowerment. For 2026, the focus area is Education, encompassing early childhood, K-12, higher, and adult education. Funded projects must aim for measurable, long-term improvements and are encouraged to be collaborative, involving multiple agencies or organizations.
