Description
The Worcester County Weatherization Assistance Grant Program is a partnership between National Grid and the Greater Worcester Community Foundation’s Worcester County Green Fund. This initiative provides funding to nonprofit organizations that assist households in reducing energy costs through pre-weatherization barrier mitigation (e.g., venting, roof repair, electrical, and environmental hazard remediation) and direct weatherization assistance (e.g., insulation installation, air sealing). The program aims to supplement existing incentives, fill funding gaps, and expand the reach of nonprofits working to improve energy efficiency for vulnerable populations in eligible Worcester County communities.
