Description
This opportunity enables UK and US-based researchers to collaborate on environmental science research by submitting joint applications to either the UK Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) or the US National Science Foundation (NSF) under their existing funding programs. The initiative is governed by a lead agency agreement between NERC and NSF, providing a single, unified review process for proposals. Collaborative research can be in any disciplinary or interdisciplinary area, provided the majority of the work fits within the remits of NERC and either the NSF Directorate for Geosciences (GEO) or Directorate for Biological Sciences (BIO).
