Work4Progress, run by la Caixa Foundation, supports social innovation networks that create quality employment for vulnerable populations, especially women and young people, primarily in rural India, Mozambique and Peru. Proposals must strengthen existing Work4Progress platforms or connect with their activities and entrepreneurial ecosystems. The programme combines community listening, co-creation, prototyping and scaling with shared evaluation and learning.

The donation modality supports new employment-generating prototypes and the acceleration of existing businesses, technologies and ecosystem services. Priorities include market access, business competitiveness, digitalisation, circular economy, green jobs, energy transition and climate adaptation. Refundable financing supports viable financing schemes for Work4Progress-linked micro, small and medium enterprises and businesses that strengthen their value chains, helping close financing gaps and expand employment.
