Description
The Nebraska Department of Labor’s Workforce Development Grant Program funds projects that promote and advance workforce development initiatives throughout Nebraska. Established in 2024 and guided by the "Good Life, Great Careers" initiative, the program encourages proposals that align with state workforce priorities, foster innovative solutions, and address Nebraska’s long-term economic and employment needs. Projects may focus on specific industries, regions, or have a statewide impact. Proposals are reviewed by the Nebraska Workforce Development Board, with final award decisions made by the Commissioner of Labor.
