    Description

    The Workshop for Youth Leaders in English Teaching (WYLET) is a week-long, fully funded program held in Washington, DC, designed to empower select exchange students from the FLEX (Future Leaders Exchange) and YES (Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study) programs. WYLET focuses on developing essential skills for aspiring English language teachers, including student-centered teaching methodologies, technology integration, classroom management, organization, and lesson planning. In addition to pedagogical training, participants engage in leadership development activities such as public speaking, team-building, and goal-setting. Upon returning home, participants are expected to use their new skills to organize or participate in English teaching initiatives within their communities.
