Description
The Higher Education and Ministry Grants, offered by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM), are designed to connect the church and the academy by supporting transformational leaders for ministry. These grants ensure access to quality education, strengthen The United Methodist Church globally, and foster leadership through funding historic Black colleges and universities, campus ministry, technical assistance in Central Conferences, and clergy recruitment and education. Special grant programs such as the Worldwide Theological Education Grants and Clergywomen Network Grants emphasize cultivating Wesleyan and United Methodist scholarship beyond the United States, resource development, and building networks for clergywomen and campus ministry.
