Description
The Writer in Residence grant is the highest literary honor and largest monetary award offered to Idaho writers by the Idaho Commission on the Arts. This biennial residency supports a distinguished Idaho writer to foster a deep appreciation for literature across the state through public readings, workshops, and literary events. The selected Writer in Residence must actively engage with Idaho communities, especially underserved areas, to cultivate a vibrant literary culture and encourage excellence in writing.
