Description
The Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) administers this Adult Education and Family Literacy Act grant under Section 225 of Title II of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. It supports educational services in Adult Basic Education and English Language Learning for people in correctional settings and other institutions.
WTCS places greater emphasis on the quality, intensity, and duration of instruction than on serving large numbers of students alone. Grantees are expected to offer instruction spanning at least three National Reporting System (NRS) levels, addressing a range of learning needs.
