Professional Development/Career Advancement Grant supports Wyoming artists and organizations with training, planning, and other capacity-building projects that strengthen their work and career prospects.

Key Information: Individual artists must be Wyoming permanent residents for 10 months of the year.
Description
The Wyoming Arts Council funds capacity-building projects for individual artists and organizations through its Professional Development/Career Advancement Grant. The program supports purposeful learning and the refinement of skills, knowledge, creative practice, and operations. Projects must have clear, tangible outcomes that advance an applicant’s work and contribute to the long-term strength of Wyoming’s creative sector.
Examples include digital training and website development; equipment and furniture for creative practice; project-specific services; residencies and public art training; strategic planning; marketing materials; and opportunities to teach, learn, or connect with peers at conferences and other events.
