The Wyoming Energy Authority administers the Wyoming Energy Dominance Fund, created through Senate File 123 during the 2026 legislative session. It offers grants, loans, or a combination for applied research, demonstration, pilot, and commercial projects related to Wyoming’s energy needs.
The fund supports work in coal innovation and coal-fired electricity; trona and bentonite development; natural gas and enhanced oil recovery; pipelines and energy exports; uranium conversion, enrichment, and fuel fabrication; rare-earth and critical-mineral processing and manufacturing; baseload energy; and grid innovation. Its goals include advancing technology and commercial deployment, delivering a public benefit to Wyoming, and strengthening reliable energy, jobs, and economic growth.
