Description
Wyoming INBRE’s Developmental Research Project Program supports significant, innovative biomedical research at the University of Wyoming. Its Research Project (RP) awards are intended to help early-stage investigators make substantial progress on projects with strong potential to compete for NIH R-type grants. Funded faculty receive mentorship, and the program encourages students to participate in research in their laboratories.
The program aims to strengthen biomedical research and workforce development. Expected outcomes include presentations, multiple publications beginning in the award’s second year, and well-crafted proposals to NIH or other health-related agencies before the award ends.
