Description
Wyoming State Parks & Cultural Resources, through Wyoming State Trails, uses revenue from off-road vehicle and snowmobile permits to support federal partners managing motorized trails. Trail Ranger Grants fund on-trail education and enforcement, light maintenance, and work promoting safe, ethical recreation on federal lands.
Maintenance, Construction and Planning Grants fund on-the-ground projects and planning that benefit public motorized trails. The two grant types address both day-to-day trail management and longer-term trail work. Wyoming State Trails also offers a trail crew for maintenance, rehabilitation, and development on motorized trails across the state.
