The Young Academics Accelerator Programme (YAAP), delivered by the National Research Foundation (NRF) in partnership with SASOL, is designed to accelerate the professional and research development of young academics in South Africa. The programme provides structured Master’s and Doctoral scholarships, aiming to foster emerging scholars’ research capabilities, expand their academic networks, and support their career progression in priority research areas aligned with national development goals.
