Description
The Young Collaborative Research Grant (YCRG) is a funding initiative under the Hong Kong Research Grants Council's Collaborative Research Fund, aimed at empowering early-career academic staff in Hong Kong to lead ambitious, multi-investigator, and multi-institutional research projects. The grant is designed to provide emerging academics with vital experience in managing collaborative research and developing leadership skills, fostering cross-disciplinary and cross-institutional synergy. Projects must demonstrate academic merit, research synergy, and the potential to cultivate new research strengths, preparing young investigators for future large-scale research opportunities. Only group research proposals are eligible; equipment-only proposals should be submitted under the Collaborative Research Equipment Grant (CREG) scheme.
