Description
The Young Collaborative Research Grant (YCRG) is a funding initiative under the Hong Kong Research Grants Council's Collaborative Research Fund. It specifically targets early-stage academic staff, enabling them to lead multi-investigator, multi-institutional research projects. The program aims to help emerging academics gain hands-on experience in collaborative project management and leadership, fostering their ability to compete for larger-scale research funding in the future. YCRG emphasizes high-quality, cross-disciplinary, and cross-institutional collaboration, focusing on academic merit, research synergy, and the development of new research strengths. Equipment-only proposals are not eligible under this scheme.
