Description
The Young Investigator Award is part of the International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (IADR) Distinguished Scientist Awards. Supported by P&G Professional Oral Health, Crest + Oral-B, it recognizes early-career investigators and is designed to stimulate basic research across all dental research disciplines, rather than a single research field.
The award combines scientific recognition with participation in IADR leadership. The recipient receives a cash prize and commemorative plaque and is announced at the Opening Ceremonies of the IADR General Session & Exhibition. The winner is also asked to serve on the IADR Board of Directors. Selection is overseen by the IADR Science Awards Committee, with award subcommittees that include previous recipients.
