Description
The Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN) offers Young Investigator Awards to develop early-career scientists and clinical cancer researchers committed to improving the understanding, treatment, or experience of bladder cancer and upper tract urothelial cancer. Projects must focus on one or both cancers and take place in a research environment capable of supporting transformational work.
Research may span basic, translational, clinical, epidemiologic, bioengineering, or other fields. Patient-centered clinical research is also welcome, including studies of shared decision making, access to care, quality of care, quality of life, health disparities, comparative effectiveness, patient-centered outcomes, and survivorship.
