Description
This program provides scholarships to Minnesota youth in grades 3–12 who wish to advance their arts education by working with professional artists. Eligible activities include private lessons, workshops, series of classes, or special training opportunities in artistic disciplines such as dance, literature, media arts, music, theater, visual art, and folk/traditional arts. The scholarship is designed to foster artistic growth and equity, and encourages applications from students of all backgrounds and language preferences. Activities must occur within Minnesota, and payments are made directly to the instructor or arts organization providing the instruction.
