Description
The Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Professional Fellows Program (YSEALI PFP) is a fully funded, two-way exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the American Councils for International Education. The program brings emerging leaders from Southeast Asia to the United States for 5–6 week fellowships in public, private, or non-profit sector organizations. The initiative aims to strengthen professional expertise, leadership skills, and cross-cultural collaboration in the following themes:
- Civic Engagement
- Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Empowerment
- Society and Governance
- Sustainability and the Environment
The program also includes reciprocal exchanges, allowing select American professionals to visit Southeast Asia for continued collaboration.
