Description
The Royal Society Yusuf Hamied Visiting Fellowships support scientific visits to India that foster the exchange of expertise between scientific communities in the UK and India. Run by the Royal Society with support from the Yusuf and Farida Hamied Foundation, the scheme forms part of the Royal Society Yusuf Hamied Programme for India and advances its priorities of international collaboration and excellence in science for the benefit of humanity.
Visits last between three and twelve weeks. Activities may include collaborative research, leading research seminars and workshops, and sharing knowledge through discussions, lectures and masterclasses. The programme considers the research areas covered, the range of partner organisations and locations, and the quality and impact of anticipated outcomes, including the longer-term contribution to scientific exchange.
