Description
The YW Legacy Fund, administered by the Greater Salina Community Foundation, carries forward the mission of the former Salina YWCA through annual grants. It supports individuals and organizations working to make Salina a better place for women and their families, with funded projects or programs limited to those benefiting Saline County, Kansas.
The fund’s priorities include encouraging women’s growth, leadership, and power toward a shared vision of peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all people. It also supports initiatives that help children reach their greatest potential, promote the physical and mental health and wellbeing of women and their families, or pursue the elimination of racism. Projects must address at least one of these priorities.
