Description
This funding opportunity supports the development, deployment, and real-world demonstration of innovative clean maritime solutions, specifically zero emission vessels and related infrastructure using electric power. The goal is to accelerate the adoption of electric-powered technologies in the maritime sector, contributing to the decarbonisation of UK shipping and aligning with the UK Government’s Maritime Decarbonisation Strategy. Projects must deliver and operate vessels and/or infrastructure in a real-world environment for three years, advancing sustainable maritime transport and reducing sector emissions.
