Description
ZERO Prostate Cancer’s Local Community Grant supports organizations working to improve prostate cancer awareness, prevention, and screening. Funded in part by proceeds from ZERO Run/Walk events, it connects community participation with local programs that help men and families access information, resources, and support.
The grant prioritizes awareness, outreach and education; screening and early detection; patient navigation; and ongoing patient support. Its goal is to close gaps in access and advance health equity for people affected by prostate cancer, including uninsured, underinsured, and underserved men. ZERO’s broader Community Grant Program has awarded more than $5 million to regional groups and nonprofit partners providing services such as free screenings and culturally responsive education.
