Description
The Amelia Earhart Fellowship is a Zonta International program funded through the Zonta Foundation for Women and listed by UBC Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Established in 1938 in honor of aviator and Zontian Amelia Earhart, it supports women pursuing Ph.D./doctoral degrees with research applied to aerospace engineering or space sciences.
The program aims to expand women’s career options and address their underrepresentation in these fields. Fellowships support advanced study at any university or college offering accredited postgraduate courses and degrees. Zonta’s goal is to help women access the resources and opportunities needed to become leaders and decision-makers in aerospace engineering and space sciences.
