The Alternative and Clean Energy Program (ACE) provides financial assistance through grants and loans to promote the utilization, development, and construction of alternative and clean energy projects throughout Pennsylvania. Administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) and the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) under the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA), the program supports a range of activities including infrastructure for compressed and liquefied natural gas fueling stations, energy efficiency and conservation initiatives, and the development of alternative energy production facilities. The program aims to encourage innovation, reduce reliance on conventional energy sources, and stimulate economic development within the state.
