Don’t plan around the previously projected September 2026 deadline: openings now depend on available funding, with applications still due at least 60 days before the relevant CFA meeting. Before applying or starting work, check the expanded applicant/project restrictions and category-specific funding limits; projects begun before approval are ineligible. Use the updated application portal and prepare six mailed copies plus the required supporting documents; if awarded, you must return signed commitments or agreements within 45 days.
