Description
The Batten Disease Global Research Initiative Grant Program, led by the Batten Disease Support & Research Association (BDSRA) and global partners, funds pioneering research aimed at improving outcomes for individuals with Batten disease (Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinoses, NCLs). The program focuses on accelerating gene-targeted therapies, identifying reliable biomarkers, understanding disease mechanisms and impact beyond the central nervous system, enhancing early diagnosis, and optimizing clinical trial design and care strategies.
