Description
The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) Cinema program supports feature, short, and medium-length fiction films in the Arab region. Feature-length projects can receive support for development, production, or post-production, while short and medium-length films receive production or post-production support. The program welcomes Arab directors and producers living in the Arab region or diaspora, and non-Arab producers working with Arab directors.
Cinema forms part of AFAC’s work to support arts and culture and sustain the Arab cultural scene. Grants support the practical and creative work involved in developing and completing films, including research, materials, equipment or space rentals, and artistic and technical collaboration. Creators retain the material and moral rights to their supported projects.
